This study develops a safer, more efficient wire winding machine to replace manual winding, which often causes uneven tension and potential injury. The process involved concept design, sketches, engineering drawings, prototype development, and testing. Results show that the machine improves winding accuracy and consistency. However, force analysis revealed a maximum Von Mises stress of 506,000,000 MPa, far above mild steel's yield strength of 207 MPa—indicating a need for better material selection. The study recommends enhancing structural strength and making the design adaptable for different wire types and sizes, enabling broader use in industrial and workshop settings.
