MetaMind is an educational intervention leveraging the metaverse to support individuals with cognitive processing disorders like ADHD, memory impairments, and learning disabilities. Traditional methods often lack adaptability and engagement, but MetaMind integrates VR, AR, and AI to create dynamic, multisensory learning environments. It features AI-driven tutors, customizable avatars, and interactive modules tailored to individual needs. A study in Korea found significant cognitive improvements, especially among participants with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), whose scores neared the normal range. While non-MCI participants also improved, their gains were not statistically significant. The platform enhances memory retention, problem-solving, and social skills, aligning with SDG 3 (Health) and SDG 4 (Education). MetaMind fosters a safe virtual space for cognitive and social development, demonstrating the potential of adaptive, immersive learning for neurodiverse populations.
