ESG is an important framework for Malaysian businesses due to many issues like climate change, employee welfare, and corruption. However, ESG is still new, and many SMEs are not familiar with its complex requirements. In addition, businesses do not have the expertise and technical knowledge to blend ESG into their operations. Thus, the purpose of this innovation is to develop an ESG compliance product that involves a summary checklist of ESG guidelines that are based on international and national guidelines, laws and regulations. The business can easily use this checklist to ensure its business activities are consistent with ESG requirements.
