ANVASUM is a set of anti-larva products developed to combat dengue by targeting the Aedes mosquito life cycle. It is formulated using Piper sarmentosum (Pokok Kaduk), a plant known for its medicinal properties. The products come in various forms to suit different user needs and can be used in daily life. Inspired by school-based herbal knowledge, ANVASUM was created to address rising dengue cases in the community. Using water distillation, essential oils were extracted in the school lab through an innovative biochemistry approach. The effectiveness of ANVASUM was validated through testing and analysis at UPM and UiTM’s Faculty of Medicine
