EduForecast is an R Shiny dashboard designed to predict final exam marks based on key formative assessment scores from quizzes and open-book tests. Using multiple linear regression analysis in R, the platform’s predictive model identifies five key assessments, including three quizzes and two open-book tests, as significant predictors of final exam performance. The tool provides interactive visualizations and instant predictive feedback to help educators effectively identify at-risk students well before final exams. This proactive approach enables timely academic interventions, fostering personalized academic support and promoting data-driven teaching strategies to ultimately improve learning outcomes and overall academic success among pre-university students.
